DAN NICHOLAS’ PARTY HOUR @Thirsty
Daniel Nicholas est 1991. ('a powerful performer' - Notts Comedy Reviewer, Best Improv Show Leicester Comedy Festival) is having a party and you're invited.
Missing the schools games of our childhood this Daniel does his best to replicate those feelings of yesteryear. Featuring team games, party hats, balloons, and who can do the best Sean Connery impression. This audience interactive game show seeks out to find who is the best Fringe Festival audience.
No promises on the goodie bag at the end though. If you just want to blow off steam and make silly faces and noises more frequently then this is for you.
AARON SIMMONDS: BABY STEPS @Thirsty
Aaron has been doing stand-up comedy without actually standing up for 8 years now, and it's time for that to change! So he’s attempting to do something he's never done before... Stand-up comedy, standing up.
“An amazing storyteller…there’s never a dull moment…hilarious.” ««««« Neurodiverse Review

MATT HOBS: MOONTALKER @Thirsty
This is one small set for Matt, one giant leap for Matt’s kind (i.e. science geeks). With humanity planning to return to the moon in 2025, this comedy show is about the Apollo missions, the last time man stepped foot on the moon (yes, it did happen!). This show is more about the journey than the destination. Telling the stories about the men who walked on the moon and how they did it. How did they get there? How did it make them feel? And how it is all really about Phil Collins? All the key questions will be addressed.
Matt Hobs returns to the Cambridge Fringe following successful solo shows in 2022 (‘Matt Hobs: Follow the Science’) and 2019 ('Matt Hobs BSc (Bristolian of Science)').
"Hobs' explanations are equal to that of the best lecturers, and undoubtedly funnier... a very likable leading comic with a talent for multimedia comedy.", The Wee Review
SI DEAVES: BEST THING EVER @Thirsty
Best thing ever.
At the age of 36 Si had a baby. Well, his wife did, but he was very much involved. He’s tired now and confused as to why he’s writing this in third-person, but regardless has written a show. It’s the best thing ever ... The baby, not the show. Although the show is pretty damn good too.
Anyway, it's about the baby and other things in his life that are also pretty damn good and some that aren't.
JACOB HENEGAN: MOSTLY KILLER (SOME FILLER) @Thirsty
A thrilling debut hour from absurdist Australian stand up Jacob Henegan.
This show will contain 3 perfect jokes, and many other jokes that are imperfect but beautiful in their flawed nature.
Jacob will probably tell some charming stories and maybe make some witty observations.
Jacob will not do any skateboard tricks during this hour
CHELSEA BIRKBY: SILLY SAUSAGE (WORK IN PROGRESS) @Thirsty
Chelsea Birkby follows up on her award-winning debut with this work-in-progress. Is it about an awakening, clown school and her Mum, or is it about YOUR MUM? As listed in British Comedy Guides Top 10 Picks.
Expect: one liners, heart, pop culture, and maybe even sincerity?
“A hugely promising and already accomplished stand-up, surely destined for greater things.” ★★★★ The Scotsman
RUBY CARR: eBae (WORK IN PROGRESS) @Thirsty
Deep dive into the weird wonderful world of eBay with me. I’m obsessed with the thrill of an auction, it’s like shopping – but with a winner.
I have found a treasure trove of people not just selling items but a little piece of their life. I have bought it all. Is this because I am a sucker for a good story, or is it my obsessive-compulsive disorder combining with my hyperfocus fixation of my ADHD? You decide!
I’ll walk the audience through the rabbit hole I have found myself in, seeking validation for each progressively insane purchase.
“Ruby brings an infectious energy and steady stream of animated stories… injected with a deluge of sharp-witted reflections” – The Student
ALI BRICE: I TRIED TO BE FUNNY BUT YOU WEREN’T LOOKING @Thirsty
Ali Brice is embracing life after almost losing it. Two years on, he’s admitted defeat and is back on his feet and trying again. Through therapy, friends, and sausages he’s enjoying the moment and celebrating the little things that life has to offer.
This is a sincere and heartfelt show. Silly stories, big questions and jokes aplenty - all held together by a ridiculous man with a silly moustache.
Ali Brice is a comedian and actor. As seen/heard on the BBC and Channel 4. He was almost in the new series of Never Mind the Buzzcocks, but has no way to prove it.

★★★★ "completely bizarre... deadpan, totally off-the-wall' ThreeWeeks
ED ACZEL: ARTIFICIAL INTELLECT AND OTHER IDEAS @Thirsty
The Award-winning anti-comedy legend tries to rationalise the world around us. By combining the big (i.e. the advent of unisex toilets) and the small (the inevitable apocalypse) – as a group we can then work out where we all go afterwards?
Ed promises to come up with a big idea to hang the whole thing on – but probably it'll be based on a loose set of unconnected themes with no real purpose. There'll be a demonstration of Ed's acting skills, the odd political impression and the apocalypse included as part of the standard package.
‘Britain’s Greatest Entertainer” – The Guardian
**** 'A master of his genre' (Kate Copstick, The Scotsman).
**** 'Deliberate and expertly done' (Claire Smith, The Scotsman)
MICHAEL BRUNSTRÖM: MISSING @Thirsty
MICHAEL BRUNSTRÖM takes the audience on a bizarre ride through dreams and anecdotes, science fiction and mysticism, to explore what we do when something is missing from our lives, at the crossroads between mourning and desire. Featuring Brunström’s trademark mind-bending surrealism, silly props, high drama and low dancing, this show is both odd and oddly moving.
Michael Brunström is missing. Did he simply wander off, or is he trapped down a well? Has he been stolen? Or is he stuck underneath a large heavy object? What will it take to find him and bring him back?
Surrealist comedian Michael Brunström is the creator of capers such as 'Parsley', 'The Great Fire of London' and 'World of Sports', and Winner of the Malcolm Hardee Award for Comic Originality.
