Bella Union 25th anniversary presents… TIM BURGESS + POM POKO + REN HARVIEU + PENELOPE ISLES & more acts to be announced @Cambridge Junction (J1)
The Bella Union label celebrates its first 25 years in style! Frontman, singer, label boss, DJ and author Tim Burgess and his stable mates’ bring the party to the Junction. Acts announced include Norway’s finest punk-pop anti-conformists Pom Poko, The sublime Ren Harvieu and the ever ascending Penelope Isles. Don’t miss this one.

NUBIYAN TWIST + SHAO DOW + ECKOES @Cambridge Junction (J1)
Expect a powerful horn section, ultra-tight musicianship and heavy afro-jazz grooves as Nubiyan Twist bring their incendiary show to The Junction on 22nd April 2022.
Freedom Fables was released in February 2021 to widespread acclaim, including a MOBO nomination for Best Jazz Act. four 6Music & Jazz FM playlisted singles, an appearance on Jools Holland and a festival season which included Green Man, We Out Here & South Facing.
ACCESS CREATIVE / CETERA SHOWCASE with @Cambridge Junction (J3)
Cetera (pronounced set-er-a) is an Artist Development and Management company powered by Access Creative College.
Ceteras role is to work with ACC students and alumni to help launch their careers and help move them along to the next stage of their development journey.
Showcases like the one for Sound and Vision are just one of the ways that Cetera and Access associated acts get to play in front of industry tastemakers. Cetera/Access acts also get to play at Latitude Festival, Wild Paths Festival, Soho Music Month, Mostly Jazz, Funk and Soul,Moseley Folk Festival, Wide Skies Festival and many others.
Acts playing the Cetera x Access showcase at Sound and Vision include the haunting sounds of Oliver Say, the local boom bap hip hop champions Sleeps Cousin, the rap/hyperpop of the multi talented producer Sebbuku, the crunchy power trio that is Archy and The Astronauts and East Anglia's next big thing Gabby Rivers.
ELECTRONIC SOUND @ S+V presents: A CERTAIN RATIO + NIK COLK VOID + YOUTH SECTOR @Cambridge Junction (J1)
Formed in 1978 with a core line-up of Jez Kerr, Martin Moscrop and Donald Johnson, adding Tony Quigley, Denise Johnson and Matt Steele for touring and studio contributions, Manchester’s A Certain Ratio embraced the ethic and culture of the late seventies post-punk explosion, sounding like nothing else around them and refusing to fit in.
RIOT JAZZ BRASS BAND @Cambridge Junction (J2)
Riot Jazz Brass Band hail from the grimy protoplasm of Manchester’s prolific creative scene. Since 2008, they have been spreading unconditional love and irresistible energy across the nation and continent.
